About Maria Morahan
I am Maria Morahan, a counsellor, psychotherapist and academic psychologist.
I use my experience and knowledge to work with counselling clients, particularly young adults and those experiencing early life crises. I also specialise in clinical supervision for counsellors and trainees, and provide academic and writing support to counsellors wishing to conduct research in counselling.
My counselling interests focus on work with young adults, inherited identity issues and inter-generational trauma. I am happy to work with these issues if they are a struggle for you.
My Approach
My integrative approach draws particularly upon person-centred therapy. We cannot change past events in our lives, but we can choose how we think about them and how they affect us now.
I offer a warm, supportive therapeutic relationship. I work with you to explore the best way forward. I work at your pace; how much you wish to say is your choice.
