Any personal information received, including names, postal addresses, and medical histories, is included. Data was previously stored securely in a lockable cabinet until July 2024. Since August 2024, data has been kept on a secure, locked computer in encrypted files. When submitting information by completing a form online within the website, please note that this information is only secure when it reaches me.

What records I keep

Names, postal addresses, email addresses, GP details, email addresses, and counselling notes.

Other information collected

Your personal data may automatically be collected when you use this website, including but not limited to your IP address, device-specific information and location. Other information is also collected in relation to the users experience of my website and to help with marketing.

How is personal data used?

Please be assured that I do not sell your data to any third party. Your information is important, and I want to keep it as safe and confidential as possible.

I use your data for the following purposes:

  • to help identify you and any accounts you hold with me

How long will I keep records for?

I keep records for four years.

Whilst offering online therapy on Zoom/ Teams or other video platforms, I am unable to guarantee the security of data collected by these platforms and would encourage you to read their data processing terms for your own peace of mind.

I know how important your privacy is to me, and there are a few incidents in which I may have to disclose your information to a third party:

  • Information may be disclosed to others with a view to preventing fraud or to assist the police in police investigations in line with the Data Protection Act.
